I kinda suck at this whole dieting/exercise thing...
BUT I am trying. I totally indulged on Saturday, but it was my birthday...lol. Although that did not really give me the right to eat out twice in one day. Can you say mega-calories? Tomorrow is my weigh in day so even if I am the same as I was last week (202) I will be satisfied. Wish I could do this whole thing better so I could lose more weight in a week...I think seeing the scales go down will motivate me.

Notes to myself
Well so far the diet is going ok...my weigh in day is Tuesday, same day as Biggest Loser!
As the day has progressed, I have been thinking of some things I can do differently that hopefully will help me more successful in losing the fat!
#1 Keep healthy snacks in the car so when I get hungry while out, I won't be tempted to buy bad stuff from a store or even worse drive through a fast food joint.
#2 BUy low cal/low fat salad dressing. Salad is healthy but high calorie salad dressing is wrong!
#3 I need to drink less soda and more water! Gotta buy some bottles of water, freeze some, and keep one with me at all times.

A New Year...A New Me????
The past few years I, like many Americans, have made the resolution to lose weight. Ha! Like many Americans, I have FAILED!!! In 2007, I did not lose a lb. Instead I gained 20. My excuses....husband is deployed again, I stopped working and now am a stay at home mom, and last but not least my kids drive me crazy. The real reason: I have been eating like a pig and not exercising. So this blog is an attempt to hopefully motivate and keep me on track on my weight loss journey. Wish me luck...I need it!
